About

Jack Tse

Bio

Born and raised in New York City, Jack Tse (me!) decided to get into the graphic arts after graduating High School. The college of choice was the School of Visual Arts and he eventually graduated with a degree in Advertising and Graphic Design. Notable NYC companies he worked in include: School of Visual Arts, Young and Rubicam Advertising, NetAid Foundation, New York Sports Clubs and David Barton Gym. Moving to the Bay Area in California in 2006, Jack currently works as a designer at Westminster Promotions.

Philosophy

My goals as a graphic designer is to help my clients communicate their message the best way possible but I think it’s also my responsibility as an artist to push the medium forward and innovate as much as possible when appropriate. Working in Silicon Valley has really energized me these last few years because of the strides web design in marketing has made.

Interests

Design obviously is what I love and do every day but music and sports are very important to me too. I’m a fan of Indie Music movement and recently attended the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. My angry neighbors will confirm I’m a guitar player as well. The New York Giants are my favorite sports team and yes, I am enjoying and reveling in the Super Bowl winning glory right now. Drop me a line and I’ll accept any table tennis or basketball challenge you throw my way!
