The worries about the second varnish not being noticeable were unfounded — the printer did a proof and they look great. Still sneaky, but clever sneaky rather than “mistake” sneaky. They will probably be all run after the long weekend and in my hands towards mi-week.

I haven’t had a business card update since 2006, so this will be a long-time coming. For those of you who know, the old set was sparse and I experimented with them by doing crafty things such as cutting, drawing and even stitching on them. Stitching be the most successful of the techniques and the one that taught me how useful a really snazzy card can be. It’s a instant conversation started and within a few months, I know the usual routine of what people say and can tell “the story” behind it.

TypeSett is freshly updated this weekend to coincide with the printing of the business cards tomorrow. The cards will be a 3-color, 2-side, metallic PMS bundle of coolness hopefully. Images to come tomorrow.
