Eric Meyer is a Real Person

I assumed the W3C made up this “Eric Meyer” character as some sort of friendly mascot like Frosted Flakes did with Tony the Tiger to sell CSS but apparently he is a real person!

Just kidding of course, but Eric Meyer is definitely a CSS guru of titanic proportions. Check out his website at meyerweb.com where he waxes poetic on mostly web dev stuff but other subject matter as well. I get the sense he likes being the authority on CSS but he must be bored out of his mind by it at this point… and has other creative passions. Totally understandable.
