Initially, their website was developed under the guidance of their Public Relations firm, reflecting their status as a newsmaker driven by their groundbreaking research. However, as time progressed, they recognized the need for an agency that could effectively manage website updates while collaborating seamlessly with their existing PR firm. I stepped in to provide comprehensive consulting services, overseeing programming, CMS updates, plugin recommendations, and general development for three consecutive years.
Concurrently with providing ongoing support for their website, we also embarked on several side projects aimed at enhancing its functionality and appeal. These projects included developing innovative methods to showcase individual labs, creating a user-friendly system for maintaining their database of research publications, and laying the groundwork for a comprehensive website redesign. However, following the pandemic, new leadership was introduced, bringing with them fresh objectives and priorities. This shift ultimately led to the conclusion of our partnership before we could fully implement the planned website updates.
