Project Overview

The Train Your Head trade show presented an exciting opportunity for me to showcase my art direction skills. I was tasked with creating a cohesive visual identity for the event, encompassing ads, direct mail, brochures, signage, branded merchandise, and supporting collateral. Inspired by the event's focus on fitness and its location in New York City, I devised a concept that featured illustrations of diverse individuals exercising in various locations throughout the city, emphasizing its urban energy and commitment to health and wellness.

My Role:

  • Print Design
  • Promotions
  • Illustration
  • Banner Design

Results

This event stood as one of TSI's most successful training events at that time, with the unique illustrations proving to be a resounding hit among attendees, setting it apart from the typical use of traditional photography at similar events.

Original Illustrations
With a clear vision to establish a unique visual identity for the Train Your Head trade show while adhering to budget limitations, I took on the task of creating original illustrations. Drawing inspiration from the event's themes of health and wellness and its location in New York City, I embarked on a creative endeavor to depict diverse individuals engaged in fitness activities throughout the city's vibrant neighborhoods.

Direct to Your Mailbox
Utilizing the company's established network of fitness professionals, past attendees, and individuals who had expressed interest, we designed personalized direct mail pieces to promote the Train Your Head trade show. The mailers were carefully crafted to reflect the event's energetic spirit, featuring bold graphics, compelling text, and strategic placement of essential information such as class schedules, exclusive discounts, and registration forms. By striking a harmonious balance between informative content and the event's vibrant personality, we created direct mail pieces that effectively conveyed the event's essence and generated anticipation among potential attendees.
